gejaystudent Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Hey hi all, maybe i should poke a stick in my eye because the answer is looking at me. I'll bet but heres my first question... I have created a project in a metric template, then found that the scale factor is haywire. Is there some way to rest the template with out loosing my work or changing anything other than the physical line properties? Second, I have loaded the same file onto another students file who's scale factor is A OK and metric. My file LOOKS fine but when i start to add lines or dimension all the properties are imperial! Thanks for reading, gejay. Quote
rkent Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Type UNITS hit enter, change the type to decimal. You may have to go into dimstyle and change the Primary units, Unit format as well. Quote
gejaystudent Posted September 21, 2011 Author Posted September 21, 2011 Thanks I'll give that a go. I have gone into CUI and the units on the toolbar tab and changed but to no avail. Quote
gejaystudent Posted September 21, 2011 Author Posted September 21, 2011 Thank you! problem solved! Now, we were wondering, is there a button called 'do my homework for me'? just putting it out there! Thanks again. Quote
ReMark Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 We won't do your homework for you (at least most of us won't) but we will try to answer your questions to the best of our ability. Quote
SLW210 Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Like ReMark said, most are not going to do the homework for you, but you some will walk you step-by-step through your projects. Just start searching and asking questions. Quote
