BlackBox Posted September 12, 2011 Share Posted September 12, 2011 If you are not already familiar with VBA, then I would suggest that you NOT invest the time to learn to develop with this language. AutoCAD, and Microsoft are allowing VBA to die through attrition, meaning you can still use it, but it will no longer be enhanced so that developers are forced to migrate their code to VB.NET instead. If you still need to know more about VBA, then enter the VBAIDE command, then once open, hit F1 to see Developer Documentation. If you'd instead like to learn more about VB.NET, then you may download a free version of Visual Studio 2010 Express here (one each for C++,C#, and VB.NET), download the AutoCAD .NET Software Development Kit (SDK) here, and you can download the latest .NET Wizard here.
