cgoerlich Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 I am using ARCALIGNTEXT from the express menu. I have an arc that looks like a smile. I can not get the text to come in correctly. It comes in backwards and I cannot reverse it. I've tried all the buttons on the dialog box and nothing seems to work. I also tried to mirror the text but once I do the letters are backwards. Anyone know how to do ARCALIGNTEXT on an arc that looks like a smile? I am trying to place text for a PE Stamp. Quote
JD Mather Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Attach the file here. BTW - where did that thread title come from? Quote
cgoerlich Posted September 6, 2011 Author Posted September 6, 2011 What do you want me to attach? Chuck is my name. Quote
Cad64 Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Your name is not an appropriate thread title. You should name your thread with a descriptive title so people know what type of question is being asked. I have renamed this thread. Quote
cgoerlich Posted September 6, 2011 Author Posted September 6, 2011 Ok I'm a chatroom newbie and don't know the lingo. Any suggestions on my question? Quote
Cad64 Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Attach your .dwg file here so we can take a look at your drawing. It's easier to diagnose the problem if we have the actual drawing to work with. Quote
cgoerlich Posted September 6, 2011 Author Posted September 6, 2011 It's the "STATE OF CALIFORNIA" i'm trying to put in. If you want the .dwg file please let me know how to attach, all I found were image attachments. Quote
nestly Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 10th button across the top. "Inward toward Center" Quote
Cad64 Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 The text in the image looks fine, or is that not your drawing? Click the "Go Advanced" button and then, in the advanced editor, click the "Manage Attachments" button. You can upload your .dwg file from there. Quote
cgoerlich Posted September 6, 2011 Author Posted September 6, 2011 Thank you for all your help. It works!! The image I sent had individual letters, thats why it looked fine. Found out that when importing into Revit the letters got messed up. Quote
