Now that Autodesk has the rights to this software I'm dealing with a few people that are using it and was wondering what any users around here using it thought of it.

So now Al Gore has his own software?

I do not use FEA, but I get Machine Design magazine and they have reviews and examples of Algor and other FEA from time to time.

I new I'd get an Al Gore joke out of this lol

Why do we need an Al Gore simulator? I thought the original was plenty. Way more than we needed in fact. Of course, if not for him, we wouldn't be enjoying this pleasant conversation!

its that awsome beard people keep trying to simulate!

He has a beard now? Haven't seen him in a while.

I don't even know what that is Daniel. What is fFEA?

was suppose to be FEA lol stands for finite element analysis, used in calculating stresses in components and what nots.

don't know if he still has the beard but he did rock it out for a while ...

Oh, gotcha. No, I don't do that. I leave that for the engineers. I just draw the stuff.
