Bobzy20 Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 Hi, I currently have the ‘nVIDIA GeForce 7500LE’ graphics card but I’m looking to replace it with something a little bit more powerful to use with AutoCAD 2012 & SketchUp 8 Pro. I would like to generate some photo realistic renders in AutoCAD and my card doesn’t really seem to cope very well. My PC Spec is here: http://www.uktsupport.co.uk/advent/pc/t9509.htm Cab anybody recommend a good one? Any help would be great. Thanks Bob Quote
f700es Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 I agree, if SU is a main tool along with AutoCAD then the consumer gaming cards will be the best bet. Rendering is not handled by the GPU at the moment. So that will reley on your CPU. As for those specs, up the ram to 4 gigs and the HDD to at least 500GB if not 1 TB. Ram and hard drives are cheap so use them. The quad core CPU will help speed up rendering times. Quote
