Can anyone explain in detail how to Draw these objects in Autocad 2007?

"NB" is Single Line Text and the object surronding these "NB" Letters are:

One is Arc and other is polyline (Total 4 + 4 = 8).

When I exploded the Block, I could not get any reference for - How these 4 arcs and 4 polilines are having geometrical relationship with "NB".

IF you can not understand from this info only, please ask for more.

Thanks

Did you try the Block Editor?

There is no geometrical relationship between the text "NB" and the arcs at each corner unless you want to base one upon a rectangle created at the intersection of each pair of arcs.

You really need to be told how to draw the arcs and text?

Text can be DText or MText (your choice).

Arcs can be created with trimmed circles. They are at a 45 deg angle to each corner. I'd draw/trim one pair then use the Mirror command to create the remaining three pairs.

Up and down the Arcs/Plines are centered and symmetric. Left to right they are not centered, so presumably it was eyeballed in or offset a certain amount.

The polyline-like arcs can be duplicated using a circle then trimming it.

I enlarged your drawing by a factor of five to better dimension it.

Yes, evne the 2 arcs are also created by 2 different commands - Arc and Polyline.

Actually, I was wondering why 2 different commands have been used to create almost similar objects. And can you identify, how the set of 4 arcs (around NB) are centered, OR how far they away from the text object "NB"?

Can u explain this, please?

Thanks

See image in my previous post.

Can you attach your drawing such that, I can open it by using Autocad 2007, please?

Thanks

You already had the drawing. Why didn't you just dimension it yourself?

Thanks. I will look into it and understand how to draw them by myself.

H Remark,

Will you please show me how did you determine the radius of "POLY ARC" touched wit the "ARC" as 0.3900? Because in the property pallete of that "POLY ARC" radius can not be mentioned, when we click that "POLY ARC" there can be seen 11 grip points.

If you have determine that radius, then how did you draw it? Please explain step - by- step

Thanks

It was easier than I recalled.

Only one of the arcs is a "poly-arc". The second arc is, well, an arc. When I did a "list" on it the arc's radius was shown as being 0.3889 so I just rounded this off since I saw no reason, for this type of drawing, for specifying the arc's radius to that precision. Are we good to go?

By the way, once I determined that one of the two arcs was indeed really an arc reproducing it was as simple as using the circle command, finding the center of the arc, drawing the circle and trimming it accordingly.

Hi ReMark,

Will you provide me the answer for my question, now?

Thanks
