YZ Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 When we moved from 2011 to 2012 all of my default scales disappeared. They still exist in my old templates, but when I click "Reset" it goes back to the AutoCAD standard. I want to be able to use the Reset button to bring in my company standard scales instead, but I don't want to recreate them all. Can I bring back my old ones somehow? Quote
pendean Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 Much like your AutoCAD/LT2011 setup, in AutoCAD/LT2012 you must create and maintain your custom list in OPTIONS command>USER PREFERENCES tab>Default Scale List button: http://exchange.autodesk.com/autocadlt/enu/online-help/WS1a9193826455f5ffa23ce210c4a30acaf-4968.htm#WSc30cd3d5faa8f6d813d93f4ffc2d61250-7f9e Quote
YZ Posted July 7, 2011 Author Posted July 7, 2011 Wow, sorry I only just saw that you had replied. Don't know why I didn't notice earlier. It seems to me that you are saying I will need to create all my custom scales again? We have about 30 of them trying to cover every scenario. I would prefer one last shot at loading the file from a previous dwg into the new Default Scale List. I cannot work out a single way to do this, so my suspicion is that it is not possible... Quote
KiLLiNG-TiME Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Never used LT but i just call a lisp & then call a script in my main start up. But you could use CleanupScales.exe to batch change your scale list's. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=11062617&linkID=9240618 Quote
Lee Roy Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 I created a few lisps that my users call whenever they need certain scale groups, other than what's delivered. All users are happy, as their scale lists aren't overly larger than they need. Quote
