i face problem to draw angles.

normally angle are defined clearly but if they show the angle b/t two lines

then may problem to understand .

more clearly view image.

i want to draw line with these angles more quickly and easily.

please give ur arguments and tips.

You can draw a line with a length and an angle rather than with coordinates. For instance, the first two segments you would input like so:

line

(x,y) [start point]

@0,8.37

2.53

I'm assuming the first segment is vertical, the angle there isn't given.

I'm not interested in doing the entire drawing but here is how I would do the first three distances and angles.

LINE Specify first point:

Specify next point or [undo]: @8.37

Specify next point or [undo]: @2.53

Specify next point or [Close/Undo]: @8.01

If you try it then check the angles (31 and 93 deg) you'll see that it works.

Are you doing this in AutoCAD, or Max 2000

Unfortunately, AutoCAD doesn't have any direct method to do what you want. If the angles are whole numbers, I'd probably just do the math in my head and enter the absolute angle as ReMark demonstrated, otherwise I'd probably use Parallel or Perpendicular OSnap tracking to draw the line the correct length..... then rotate it into position..... then repeat for the next segment.

Dynamic Input and Grips do make this faster in more recent releases, but it still takes more steps than it should.

i try this in auto cad actually i read a tutorial and then i solve this problem by using polar array.

we select line and give specified angle with minus sign in angle to fill field. so u create easily.

yes ur method is work fine but in this method first we calculate the actual angle then type angle so it is difficult and may

face some mistakes.

If the first of the two lines connected to the start point are one vertical and the other horizontal and since the angle between 4.78 and 7.3 long lines is not defined, there is no solution to this.

there is no solution to this.

Agreed.

But the OP was asking how to draw the line at an angle to the previous line. My method would involve copying the line onto itself. Then rotating the line by the required angle and then by using Lengthen, make the rotated line the correct length.

My mental arithmetic is not trustworthy for adding angles.

Yes, that is probably the fastest way to do it. And, less likely to make a mistake.
