Eagi Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Hi, one of my colleges just got a blueprint from the architect where the wall hatch seems to be a bit wonky... the architect in question sais that we need to set our presentation to Standard to lower our hatch detail to her level. My question would be where do I edit the presentation detail? Best regards // Ed Quote
DANIEL Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 are you talking about the hatch patterns scale ? Quote
Eagi Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 As I have interpreted the situation, it's not a matter of scale but rather problem with level of detail. Some of her walls were apparently just made of the outer lines, while on our screens they show up with a 45* angled stripe hatch... Quote
DANIEL Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 I just guessing with out seeing exactly what your talking about but it does sound like it could simply be a scale factor issue, I would recommend looking into it just to absolutely rule that out as the solution, you can play with the hatch scale by doing a change properties on it, if thats not it, it's a simple undo. Dana W Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 You can select the presentation 'level' for the entire drawing in the page set up manager modify dialog. There is a drop down list on the right side. You can also go into HATCHEDIT and increase the hatch scale to enlarge and open up the density of the hatch image. Quote
rkent Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Sounds like you are using AutoCAD Architectural and not plain AutoCAD. I believe in the lower right you will find the presentation presets, if not you will have to build them. Post in the Architectural newsgroup. Quote
Eagi Posted June 27, 2011 Author Posted June 27, 2011 There might be a posibility that the architect is using AutoCAD Architectural and therefore she's referring to a setting that I'm missing... Quote

designerstuart Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 in ADT there is, as mentioned above, a way to control this. see image: is there no way to alter this in vanilla? Quote
