okay, so i have a dynamic block. I am able to stretch it how i want BUT, the moment i add a text attribute to it, my block dissapears. this does not always happen, although i do the exact smae thing every time. what can i do to avoid the lock being deleted/hidden when i add a text attribute to it?

by the way, i am trying to stretch the text attributes with the block (or move, which ever choice of words you use)

This sounds like an order of operation when creating a dynamic block issue.

Draw the object, THEN add the text atts., THEN add the dynamic atts, THEN add the dyn actions. Make sure the DAs include the text for actins like rotate and move, but remain static to the base point when strectching.

If the dynamic atts are applied to a block before the text, then the text would not be part of the dynamic block.

can you post a before and after block here. I don't keep to any specific order when creating blocks and have never encountered your problem.
