ServaCleanCAD
Hi everyone, I'm opening a drawing created in AutoCAD 2008, which is plotting hidden arcs as solid lines. Straight hidden lines are dashed as normal. I've attached both the paperspace view and the plot preview to show what I mean. The outer radius is showing as dashed in paperspace view, but appears as a solid line when plotted. The straight line leading to it is dashed in both views. Any idea why? Cheers! rkent
It looks like the viewport Shademode is set to something other than 2D, set it to 2D if that is the case.
ServaCleanCAD
You are a superstar! The shade plot was set to "legacy hidden" - whatever that may be - I set it to "as displayed", and it's worked a treat! Thanks again!
ServaCleanCAD
All I need now is to find why AutoCAD 2012 changed the shademode to "legacy hidden" in the firt place..... It's set to "as displayed" when opened in 2008....
rkent
Glad it worked. I don't think the program changes those things but you never know with bugs.
