fleagle8t Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Hi Folks, I've recently joined a new company which is running Solidworks 2010, which I have to pick up in record time (I have been using Inventor for Years). The problem I'm having is,when I'm in weldments and go to use Structural Sections the software is only giving me two Standard options!!! Is there any way of getting more standards in there?? Any help will be greatly Appreciated Also can anyone advise any good tutorial websites for Solidworks?? Many Thanks Quote
shift1313 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Welcome aboard. The standards listed there are the ones checked during install. If you go to configure your toolbox you should be able to add more standards that way. I have some stuff in the link in my sig. You can also go to my links page and i send you to some other places. I dont have any structural steel or weldments stuff on my site yet. I also make vids for http://www.mymlcservices.com which has hundreds of videos. There might be something in there for you as well. ILoveMadoka Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 If you Google "Solidworks Tutorials" you'll find there are tons out there. Also search YouTube for Solidworks Tutorials. Quote
