bbankston Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 How do you change your paper size? I'm not given the option in the drop down box: Thanks! Quote
SLW210 Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Paper size is plotter dependent in most cases. Sometimes you need to select properties and add paper sizes to the plotter. Quote
ReMark Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 It may do no good to try to add a paper size larger than what the plotter/printer can physically support. Quote
bbankston Posted June 1, 2011 Author Posted June 1, 2011 Customer asks that I remake my drawings to fit on 36 x 24 so that he can submit them to the architect. I tell him that we print at 17 x 11s here at the office because that's the biggest paper we can print on. I said that whoever he uses to print my PDFs can just scale them to fit but the scale factor in my drawings will be incorrect (which is the only down-side). He still wants me to change my drawings for 36 x 24. Help! Quote
dbroada Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 what plotter are you selecting? If I select DWG To PDF.pc3 as my plotter I can select the sizes you require. Quote
Jack_O'neill Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Got it, Jack. Thank you! Sorry...started that just a couple minutes after your 2nd post, got a phone call. When I got back to it, Dave had beat me to it. Didn't know it till I hit the post button, though. Looking back at the times....golly, that phone call was more than 20 minutes long! Quote
BIGAL Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Our title block is set to 1:1 A1 (36x24) but most times we plot A3 (17x11) only difference is plot to A3 is at 1:2 scale and everything is half scale if you measure it text 2.5mm high will be 1.25mm high on A3 sheet. Quote
