FIFTHTEXAS Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Hi just bought a book with some tutorials, its in imperial, and on my copy of revit 2008 cant find a setting to change wall sizes from metric to imperial, looked on templates in folders, all in metric, is there a setting so i can change my settings from metric to imperial thanks Quote
Lee Roy Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 As it could be a couple different things, here's a thread with the same issue: http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?27141-Please-help-me-with-Revit-Units First change your units, "Settings: Project Units"...then check your dimensions to make sure they're using Project Settings for their unit types. JRevit Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 i think you will need an imperial template to use..also you do know when in Revit you can type any dimension in and it will adhere to it ie i often get Imperial families from the USA and i just type in the dimenion i want with mm on the end Quote
Lee Roy Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Yes, then make sure your dimension types are the units you want, and everything is fine. Still, though, you can just change the units in the drawing with the Units button. Quote
