tcec2010
anyone knows where to find 2d blocks for different drainage structures, such as manhole, cesspit, blank cap, valves, hydrant, etc?
ReMark
These types of blocks aren't included with Civil 3D on a Tool Palette? Two outside sources of both 2D and 3D AutoCAD blocks are the CAD Block Exchange Network and the CADforum.
designerstuart
why would you want to block your drainage structures? (sorry, that was my first AutoCAD pun)
Organic
These types of blocks aren't included with Civil 3D on a Tool Palette? It does come with a few base parts (not detail sheets though) although they are only examples really. You need to define your own parts depending on local specifications. For the specifications for your local area (and most likely 2D dwg files also), contact the local Council that signs off on the civil infrastructure and they will be able to provide it for you/direct you to what specifications they follow and how to obtain those.
