Level marks disappear in section

I am just beginning to learn Revit, using Revit 2011, and when I switch from elevation to section, all my level marks disappear. I have looked at visability / graphics to see if something got turned off but didn't find anything. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Go to your elevation, select the levels, then right click and select "Maximize 3D Extents". Now they should show in your section.
