mccarmic20 Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 Hi: My firm worked on a project recently with a sheet numbering system that created long sheet numbers, ie, MH-101-R1. Since the sheet numbers were so long, they no longer fit in our normal sheet/detail/drawing label blocks. (See attached DWG for an example.) We are looking to create either a dynamic block or some kind of block that will automatically stretch with the text length. Does anyone know of anything like this? Thanks! Detail Label.dwg Quote
alanjt Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 You can use the stretch parameter in a dynamic block. Quote

alanjt Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 How do I stretch based on an attribute? You have to do the stretching manually or write a custom LISP, etc. to stretch the stretch parameter for you. Quote

I have worked at firms that would either break the circle or move the text outside the bubble. You could specify Fit justification as well. Quote
