Zox Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 How do I extend this blue object to the upper bent area and then extrude all around it to get that one blue object because I want to see it's area? Quote
ReMark Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Is the object a surface or is it a mix of horizontal and vertical lines? Quote
Zox Posted April 30, 2011 Author Posted April 30, 2011 Or how do I trim this blue object that surpasses this upper surface When I try "subtract" it says "At least two solids or coplanar regions must be selected." Quote
Murph_map Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Turn the top rectangle into a region then subtract. Of couse if you use a newer version you can just grib edit the solid by dragging the edge down to the point you need. Quote
JD Mather Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Not sure how you would grip edit to that inclined plane, but I would use Slice with Surface option. Quote
Murph_map Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Subojbect selection would work a few picks required but that would be one method of doing it. Slice may be quicker in the is case hadn't thought of that. Quote

Murph_map Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 A quick and dirty one. Editing the one edge and using a vertex filter. Quote
