JBullseye74 Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Had a look in the search can't find a straight forward answer. Is it possible to change the insertion point of a block once its already been created? Quote
Dipali Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 few methods I know & use. If I want to do it here in the drawing itself, i open the block in bloock editor & select all the objects & move the point i want as insertion point to 0,0,0. another method if the block is in seprate file. go to that file & change the 'insbase'> than 'redefine the block' in your drawing using 'design center' Quote
hazardman Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 you can also do a bedit (2k6 + full version) on the block and add a basepoint parameter... Quote
jkristia Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 I was wondering the same, thank you this was very helpful. Quote
