Atrocious Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Hey, i've been trying to figure out how to set up constraints in assembly mode so that lets say a rod inserted in a hole, how do i make that object (that the hole is through) rotate about the rod? Thanks Quote
JD Mather Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Is this an AutoCAD question or some other CAD program? Zip and attach your assembly here. (sounds like you might be after an angle constriant and Drive Constraint, or perhaps a Rotational/Translation constraint) Quote

JD Mather Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Since this is a AutoCAD forum rather than a Pro/E forum you should state that you are using Pro/E in every question. Fortunately a few people here also use Pro/E. In Windows Explorer right click on the file names and select Send to Compressed (zipped) Folder. Attach the resulting *.zip files here. You professor should be able to show you how to apply assembly constraints. Quote
Cad64 Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 I've renamed this thread, and since it's not an Autocad question, I've moved it to the "Catch All" section. In the future, please post your questions here, and make sure to specify that you're using Pro-engineer in the thread title. Quote
