Dennis Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 I can't seem to work with autocad without having some troubles. is there a way that I can cobine constraints with parameters. like in the example (shown under). I want to use Constraints (Block B) for making my block. But I also want to be able to move the block with the parameter point and the action move. the movepoint lies on the right upper corner. I can move my block and adjust it, but if I adjust the block the movepoint doesn't go with the rest. unlike the other block (block A) where the point does follow the rest. that block ws made with parameter linear and strech. so is it possible to have the same result with constraints as the block made with parameters? SLW210 Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Should be possible, just constrain the point to stay where you want it. Quote
Dennis Posted March 24, 2011 Author Posted March 24, 2011 Yes that is true. but the downside is that you fix the entire drawing. so you can only put in 1 movepoint. if you punt in several more the dimconstraints won"'t work anymore becaus all those points are fixt. Quote
