I have two pages created for my layout. The first has a view port created and linetype text orientation is set up the way I want it. The second page I have rotated the viewport to fit on the sheet properly and my linetype text orientation is either upside down or facing the left rather than the right. Since the lines are showing in both view ports when I reverse the line in the second viewport to get the text orientation correct it changes it on the first layout making it incorrect. I have tried locking the view port and freezing the layers using vp freeze but I cannot get the veiwport to fully lock the text orientation in the viewport. I do not want to break the line, I just want to get the line to lock in the viewport. I'm sure you will have more questions and my explanation may not be very complete, but I'll be sitting here for a while.

Thanks for any help.

Nate

I know what you want to achieve although have been yet to find a way to do this myself. The only method I know (and use when it is important the lien type is displayed as read up) is to have multiple layers each containing the line and to viewport freeze them on/off as required in the viewports, rotating them to match the viewport orientation.

There is no way to lock the rotation of a line in a viewport otherwise that I am aware of.
