dumfatnhappy Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 ok, someone tell me I'm nuts but I have been wrestling with this all morning. I insert an eccentric reducer (12x10) with the flat side up, I go to section and it's good. I go to plan and it shows the flat side which it should NOT do (should look concentric in plan view). Ok so it gets worse, I build an eccentric reducer (flanged btw) out of 3D solids and it STILL behaves the SAME way!! I even tried to explode the real reducer down to mesh and it still does it. Also it moves the valve it's connected to and if I try to move it vie linework editing it will not let me. anybody have an idea how to fix this ?? Quote
dumfatnhappy Posted March 4, 2011 Author Posted March 4, 2011 in MEP put in an eccentric reducer in and then just view it in plan and section.... it really screws with you, even moves the valve off centerline with it. I can't figure a way to beat it. yet Quote
tzframpton Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 I use Eccentric Reducers all the time and they don't give me any problems, butt welded or flanged. Quote
dumfatnhappy Posted March 15, 2012 Author Posted March 15, 2012 blowing the dust off this thread.....I need help with this... like it's followed me from company to company. I can't find anything that controls it...locks it... I want flat side up but can't make it stick... Quote
tzframpton Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 On the Properties palette, change the Justification to Top Center before you run the pipe. That doesn't work for you? Quote
