I work at a sheet metal fabricating shop and we get files from clients using Inventor. I have to take their dwg's program them for our laser machine or waterjet, or plasma cutter. I am using Autocad LT 2011. we use Fabriwin to actually program the machines. Ok back to what i'm looking for. I need to know what is the cheapest way to open, view and get dimensions from Inventor type dwg's.

Thanks

I'm not 100% positive but wouldn't AutoDesk Design Review work?

I dont understand, surely they can send you a flat development drawing that you can open and dimension in Autocad.
