SweAndre Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 (edited) How do I do gears in Inventor 2011? I've found the spur-gear option under the design "tab". But then I get some problems... I've tried to turn my current "wheels" (see picture) into gears, but that don´t seem to be the way to do it. I also tried using component instead of feature, and then I get them to rotate however the gears collide. I don´t know how to solve this or how to do this properly.. Any help is appreciated. //André Edited February 26, 2011 by SweAndre Quote
SweAndre Posted February 26, 2011 Author Posted February 26, 2011 Te.zip Thank you for taking the time (Is only the assembly enough or should I include the ipt's aswell???) Quote
JD Mather Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 (Is only the assembly enough or should I include the ipt's aswell???) Well of course an assembly without parts is useless. Just look at the iam file size compared to the total of all ipt sizes. An iam is only a record of hyperlinks to part files and assembly constraints - nothing more. Quote
SweAndre Posted February 26, 2011 Author Posted February 26, 2011 Sorry... Apparently there is a limit in size so Te/1/2/3/4.zip together make the assembly. 2.zip 4.zip 1.zip 3.zip Quote
