3D Copy through pline

Good morning

 

I am looking for a 3D copy through a spline or a array through a spline or pline.

 

i have created a object at the tip of the pline and now i want to copy it throughout the spline

 

just imagine i am trying to create a curve stair, I have create a curve and a 3d rectangular piece at the top of the curve and now i want to copy it throughout the curve.

Have you tried the MEASURE or DIVIDE commands? You need to save your object as a block first, then either a specific number of copies with DIVIDE, or copies at a equal distance from one another with MEASURE.

no exact measurements

 

in autocad

 

TURN ON OBJECT SNAP Make sure nearest is selected

left click the object to select

then right click and select move, define the move point as the objects exact center if you do not know where thats at create splines through the object you should know what im talking about to find the objects center

 

and then use the center of the object as the move point and move it along the spline

 

with object snap and nearest active you will be able to move any object along a spline

 

though im sure you will need to copy selection and place multiple along the spline
