Usually i have them as tabs above the command lines. HELP! when i go to CUI and find the correct place, it says my layout tabs are on, but they are not on the screen. Thanks in advance for any help Sarah:o Quote
MSasu Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 Please check "Options -> Display -> Display Layout and Model tabs"; it should be cheked. Regards, Mircea Quote
sarah Posted January 17, 2011 Author Posted January 17, 2011 yes that is checked, i think its removed my tabs and given me some new means of display 'quick view display' to the bottom right of screen next to model tab. How do i get this back to my tabs above the command line? Quote
nestly Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 Your drawing window appears to be bigger than your drawing area, pushing the information at the bottom of the drawing window below the AutoCAD window. Resize or maximize the drawing window. Demo http://www.screencast.com/t/sE5pBqkVTTLL Quote
sarah Posted January 18, 2011 Author Posted January 18, 2011 nope, still wasn't there. I also lost the scale factor part on the bottom right of the screen (near model/paper tab) Its ok though. I found an old drawing of mine about an hour later that seemed to have the correct functionality. So have duplicated this, removed any info and re-saved this as my main file to overwrite the one that had gone wrong. Still wish I knew what had happened though. Thank you for all your help though Sarah:) Quote
nestly Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 I don't know, but it sure looks like it's the size of the window since there is no border on the bottom of the drawing window, implying that it's too big (long) to be seen without scrolling. Right clicking on the AutoCAD status bar gives the option to display the status bar on the drawing window, or on the Autocad window, so that would also explain why the scale controls are not visible. Anyway, glad to see you've got it back the way you want it. Quote
