DavidG Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 As it can be seen in this image, the view is cutting through the walls and the sideguard, even if the camera still far from them. Is there any way to avoid this or do I have to migrate to another program to get proper views? Quote
DavidG Posted December 24, 2010 Author Posted December 24, 2010 That doesn't seem to be the problem. Sometimes it only happens after I navigate with the wheel. For example, I can look around and everything's normal, but after I release the mouse button the walls get clipped. Quote
dedmin Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 My experience with AutoCAD is also pretty bad - since 2008 version there are always problems and crashes. And the software is getting bigger and slower despite I upgraded my computer since then - where Rhino flies AutoCAD is duying badly. Today I have a blue screen - imported an 3ds file and when trying to convert the mesh to smoothed solid AutoCAD filled all the ram and quieted. Not to mention that the file was only 2mb - nothing fancy but selecting it in AutoCAD slowed the performance. The same file in Rhino was a breeze to work with. Quote
fahim108 Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 Copy/paste this 3D model in a new blank drawing. See if you still get this error... Quote
