Raudel Solis Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 some might say running 32 bit apps on 64 bit cpus will have bugs, i from personal experience with 3ds max found that 3ds max runs more stable with my 64 bit core i7, with the parray system on 64 bit i could not use number of chunks without 3ds max force quitting, but on the 32 bit version everything ran more smoothly, even the animation playback which on the 64 bit ran with a bit of lag, Quote
ReMark Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Interesting observation. Benchmark the system running the 64-bit app then the 32-bit app and see how they compare. That will be worth looking at. Quote
Raudel Solis Posted December 18, 2010 Author Posted December 18, 2010 what should i use to benchmark it? ive heard of the benchmarking by cadalyst you mentioned in another post but it says for systems with autocad Quote

ReMark Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 I don't know. If I were you I'd do a search and find out. There has to be some way of gauging performance. Quote
