adriang50 Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 I am using Acad2010 and my directory tree is extensive. I have installed acad into c drive but my files are in another directory of larger capacity. When I click "open" a file the computer hangs for quite some time before opening up in an old drawing directory that is not where I have told it to open in the "options" menu. Windows Task Manager tells me that it is not responding. Does anybody have any clues? Quote
ReMark Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 Can you give us an example of how extensive "extensive" is? Is AutoCAD drilling down 10 levels just to get to a drawing file? I believe AutoCAD can be forced into opening in a particular folder at startup. Maybe you need to check/edit your program shortcut properties. Quote
