I Assign the color, layer properties through panel layer properties; but can’t

I draw a line and assign the color, layer properties through the panel layer properties; but can’t assign in AutoCAD 2010 LT version.pls guide me how to assign.pls refer image file.

Hmmm, You should be able to do it in LT.

Try to type PICKFIRST then [enter]. If the current value is 0, change it to 1 then [enter] again.

Try again and see if it works.
