TME walls errant contours

LD08 ~900 pts, 3 acre parcel, I created contours elev 56-95, I added 4 proposed walls 6' each starting @ elev 65, I created wall breaklines and used some org pts outside the area of disturbance in a pt group to create proposed contours, the proposed boundary is about 1/2 acre. I'm getting contours through the walls, I free orbit and can see there is no prob w/ wall breaklines, I can send file if helpful.tnx

Welcome back to the forum!

For clarity, I'm going to refer to your notes by number, starting with 1 at the left and going clockwise.

In spots 1 and 4, it's obvious from the second image that the upper level elevation doesn't match the top of the wall. Maybe you could add a new breakline to establish the boundary of the floor (or whatever it is). It looks like there's one at the top of the stairs.

Spots 2 and 3 are a mystery. Why don't those contours tie off to the breaklines? Have you verified the elevations at the tops of the walls?

Wish I could be more help. Maybe someone can make a diagnosis with the actual drawing.

After looking at all the options in TME, I tried to adjust the breakline this morning. I Rclick on breaklines >> update breaklines and then create contours and it fixed it. I'll practice more on other walls. tnx

Is there a way to make the contours in the walls 'disappear'?

Off the top of my head, the only thing I can suggest is to create an interior border around that area. If you're using LDD, though, you may have actual contour objects, so you can trim/break them and erase the offending segments.

Generally with walls they are vertical so creates problems with contours you need a bottom line make it a break line, then the top needs to be a fraction offset if metric say 10mm. Yes you will get contours on the face.

If the bottom and top are made a poly line then offset and make it a boundary to remove contours, the contours should disappear then from the wall face.
