gbelous Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 We have a small office...2 drafters, 2 architects and 1 office manager. Each computer has a backup battery as well as the server. However we seem to be replacing backups on each individual computer once or twice a year. I was just wondering if this was an average amount of time or if they seem to be burning out fast. We use the APC Backup-UPS XS 900 and average Dell computers, nothing too insane as far as power usage. What are some opinions about backups in general and are there any other ones on the market that might last longer than the APC ones? Thanks for any help! Quote
ReMark Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Same problem here using a similar battery. Finally tossed it. Flying without a net so to speak. Quote
