plmoss
We are getting this error and can't figure out how. I am drawing using construction lines, inputing exact lenghts. so on. Normally dimensions are rounded up so it wouldn't matter. I have a client that requires dimensions to be exact. I set the dimension style Alternate units on decimal max precision .00000000 to check to find errors. They are so small you can't zoom to see it. Is there some variable I am missing. Any comments would be welcome.
ReMark
Is this client NASA? What's being manufactured here that a level of precision to eight decimal places is required?
rkent
There is a known repeatable error that occurs when mirroring objects and using Polar. The values are so small it shouldn't matter to anyone. Also, working a long, long way from 0,0,0 will cause errors like this to creep in. Copy and paste is also blamed by some to be inaccurate. http://forums.augi.com/archive/index.php/t-69448.html
