bigmaz Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Hi guys I have a 2d Survey, and the Engineer wants some sections through it. I am wondering what the best way to do this is? For now, I am just going to manually put the z value of the spot levels to the correct level in the properties, so I have some sort of 3d info to go with to create the surface model. But would be great if someone could help me if there is a better way of doing this? Cheers Martin Quote
lpseifert Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 If it's a 2D survey, how do you know the elevations of the spots? What kind of 'raw' data do you have? Quote
bigmaz Posted October 26, 2010 Author Posted October 26, 2010 Hi I have spot levels on the drawing. Each spot level has 2 block att's. 1 is the cross sign (+), and the other is the level. These are seperate block att's. Cheers Quote
lpseifert Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 If you have access to Civil 3D you could try Surfaces > Utilities > Move Blocks to Attribute Elevation. Then you could create a surface using the blocks (Drawing Objects) as a definition. Quote
