Inserting pdf or jpg files into dwg

I'm using AutoCAD LT 2007 and cannot seem to get a jpg or pdf file to insert into my dwg. They come into the dwg as a white box with the name of the file, not the actual picture. Any suggestions?

You're using 2007 LT, so you're rather limited as to what you can do with images.

Older version of WiseImage from CSOFT www.csoft.com worked inside LT 2007 and allowed loading raster (scanned) images
