SpeakNoEvil Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Hello! I'm trying to find an intelligent way to reorganize the custom properties in my sheet set. Some are poorly named, others I suspect aren't even used. As far as I can tell, you can't rename a custom property; you have to create a new one, transfer the definitions throughout the sheet set one by one, and then delete the original. Isn't there a better way? P.S. I'm referring specifically to the sheet set custom properties, found by right-clicking the sheet set in SSM and going to properties. They're closely related to fields. BlackBox Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 To the best of my understanding, you are correct, that one must take the long-hand way if you will. The only other option I can think of that *might* be fruitful is if one has .NET programming experience... .NET being the only API that can manipulate the SSM's .DST file. Hope this helps! Quote
SpeakNoEvil Posted February 23, 2011 Author Posted February 23, 2011 Just an update: I found a solution to my problem, but it's an additional purchase for the program. http://www.jtbworld.com/SSMPropEditor.htm Hope others find this handy; I haven't bought it yet, but I might. Quote
