Section View - Assembly

Hello,

 

Does anyone know how I can change the properties of the section view plane? I do NOT want the 'spots' or cement like structure in the assembly section views (see attachment) but just the PLAIN colour exactly the same as the (external) color of the PART itself.

It would be great if someone could help me out!!

I am a new user for inventor ...i think what you need to do is expand solid bodies in your browser on the left then right click on solid then click properties you can change it to any colour you want.

 

or you can simply right click on any part of your model and click properties and change the colour from there

What are you trying to do with the part? The spots are there to show that you have a solid and are in a section view. If you want just the outline then create an IDW and create a section view in that.
