jer0en Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 no matter what day, time I set, this is the best I can get it... what could be wrong ? Quote
ReMark Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Could it have anything to do with your geographical location? Quote
jer0en Posted September 20, 2010 Author Posted September 20, 2010 have tried several places already Quote
cggentry Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 You can change the sky color settings in your options. I don’t know if that’s your problem. Also, make sure that you have sky on in your “sun properties”. Don’t quote me, but give it a try. Quote
rvpas Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Hi To control your sky intensity Try in the palette of the properties of the sun In the properties of the sky to change The value of intensity by increasing it ? Bye Pascal Quote
arjun_samar Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 hello there friend, if your want your background to a clear sky, you need to work on it in Photoshop, crop the blue sky erase it and place your sky image, if you have Photoshop tell me so I can tell you the step by step process, I had some spare time so this is what came up after editing using photoshop. jer0en Posted September 21, 2010 Author Posted September 21, 2010 Hi all, Photoshop (Gimp) is what I use for it now, but selecting around the roof of this silo is so difficult ... I've also tried increasing the intensity of the sky, it changes the intensity of everything and the RAL colors don't match anymore what they should. I've found a parameter that is 'sky color' but it is greyed out and I can't change it (under sun properties). @arjun: thanks for this great photoshopwork, it looks great this way. Is there a way to reset all render settings? There must be something wrong that causes this problem.. Or is it always like that in AutoCAD? thanks for the help so far! Quote
arjun_samar Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 I think you should not go finding solution on cad because what is best for the sky is to do it in gimp (since you don't have photoshop) )red (fellow cadtutor member) knows a lot about gimp , sorry I don't know about gimp. if you insist in cad, if your are talking about resetting the render settings just go to preset then change to any present and go back to your render settings, if your talking is about the whole cad settings - geographical location(what you mentioned), sun settings, exposure settings I think there is no way to change it to it's default state , the best you can do is copy your 3D model and open a new cad file then paste it there and there you go your settings are all fresh. About the sky being to dark (like it's ganna rain) try to jack up the sky intensity until you get your desire sky illumination. I hope I was able to help you... Quote
arjun_samar Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 About the sky settings here are some screen shots sky intensity 1 the result you'll get sky intensity 10 the result you'll get hope this helps and good luck (happy rendering ) Quote
jer0en Posted September 21, 2010 Author Posted September 21, 2010 I am gonna try a little more with that sky intensity. I can add contrast later. Thanks alot for your help, and hopefully there will be sunny skies above "AutoCAD 2012 renderland". Quote
