Slowly learning... Question about Vray + Materials.

Hi guys,

 

Ok... so i am slowly learning what all the settings are about in vray, however i am coming across a slight issue.

 

Please review this image:

 

 

So... the walls are the correct colour, however the roof/floor + units are supposed to be white... they seem to be inheriting the majority interior colour.... any ideas?

 

Rendered using Exponential colour mapping.

Just to add, i changed the applied material properties from 'Blinn' to 'Oren Nayar Blinn' and this seemed to fix my issue or atleased help... is this the correct solution?
