JD Mather Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 C'mon JD, How am I going to sweep a non-cylindrical hole? I don't believe it is round - attach the file here and I'll prove it or eat crow for supper. The circle is not perpendicular to the path and therefore the hole will be elliptical. Quote
gargoyle27 Posted September 9, 2010 Author Posted September 9, 2010 hmmm, i'm inclined to agree, your circle is on the face, which is not perpendicular to the hole Quote

JD Mather Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 I am astonished that you didn't catch this one, even after I wagered a meal of crow! Your hole is not round. PFM42 - TOOL HOLDER_JD.zip Quote

However, You can still extrude the hole without knowing the angle if you use a 3rd work point to create the angled plane. I would have caught that if I attempted to thread it... KC Quote
