How do I output the x,y coordinates of the desired points in the Autocad

Dear All,

I have attached an image of Autocad drawing here. It is a section of the whole autocad drawing I am interested in. It has several contour lines in it. I tried to upload the autocad file here but the size is big so I uploaded it to rapidshare. The link is ******* What I am interested is to output the x,y coordinates of the points in every contour lines. SOme of the countour lines may not be marked but when you click on one contour line and look at the properties you would be able to know it. Suppose I am interested in points of contour line 20. When I click on any points within contour lines then I can know the co-ordinates by looking at the bottom of the Autocad but I want them to be output in tabular form or any other forms.

I hope you understand my question. I appreciate your help.

You can convert contours to polylines via Civ3d but looking at your image if you think the dwg is big now wait till you convert the contours it will go exponential in size.

You can then export out the vertice points of the contour lines.

Question why do this does not make sense in the real world ?
