Not sure why after slightly orbiting perspective, lines become distorted. When in SE isometric view lines are clear. Is there a setting to adjust? Computer specs: 2ghz, 2gig ram,Nividia G-Force 6200 w/256mb.

I think it's due to the fact it was a perspective to begin with.

I usually draw in se isometric. Is that what you mean by a perspective? What other way is there that I could create camera view and get clear results?

You may have drawn in se isometric but ypo said that you slightly orbited the perspective. Hence...the result you got.

Try using the Camera command.

I probably haven't given a good description. I first orbited with bad results. Then created the image you see as a camera view.

Perhaps it is just a matter of developing your technique.

This is how it looks in se isometric, pretty clear. I would like to view more of cabinet without distortion. What should I change in my technique?

woodworks,

Are you referring to the jagged appearance of the lines? If so, that is a result of the limited resolution of your monitor. You may get a better image through your printer.

yes try to print it out.. you will see. :)

I agree with CALCAD, usually the printout looks lot better than the image you get on your monitor

Also make sure that the whole drawing is not rotated

Printout does look better. Still some jagged edges but not as bad. Usually publish and then convert to pdf to e-mail to customers. Sometimes edges of extruded objects seem to disappear until zoomed in. The problem with that is you can only zoom in as far as the layout/paper size will allow.

Thanks for the help
