lpseifert Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 I would suggest you try it and find out. hint... one makes rounded corners- the other angled Quote
XuFyan Posted August 20, 2010 Author Posted August 20, 2010 i've tried chamfer, it asks for 1st chamfer distance then second chamfer distance and then it asks for the First corner and other corner but i didn't see any difference in the rectangle after it is drawn Quote
lpseifert Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Did you enter any distances for the chamfers? Or did you use the default of 0? Try again... then zoom in on a corner Quote
eldon Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Or, if you have entered a large distance for Chamfer, and a large radius for Fillet, draw a larger Rectangle. Quote
XuFyan Posted August 20, 2010 Author Posted August 20, 2010 seen this figure, and the commands are, Chamfer/Elevation/Fillet/Thickness/Width/: c First chamfer distance for rectangles : 100 Second chamfer distance for rectangles : 200 Chamfer/Elevation/Fillet/Thickness/Width/: 0,0 Other corner: 5,5 Quote
lpseifert Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 your chamfer distance are too large- the rectangle is only 5x5 try 1 & 2 and see what happens Maybe you ought to look in Help for Chamfer to get a better idea of what you're doing. Quote
