RJDtaggl Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 I was working along and noticed that my tooltip that usually reads "polar: 10'@45d" of something like that...has disappeared. i cannot for the life of me get it back. i've gone through every resource i can, including searching this forum, and still nothing. any help would help. rkent Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 (edited) Just to make sure, you do have Polar set on, right? Set AUTOSNAP to 40. See help for AUTOSNAP setting values. Edited August 17, 2010 by rkent added words Quote
RJDtaggl Posted August 17, 2010 Author Posted August 17, 2010 yeah, i also tried all 63 combinations of the autosnap function, and tried the dynamic input feature...but i dont like typing on the screen. the polar tracking tooltip disappeared after i opened a drawing with an odd title block and it was a metric drawing, but i dont see how that would have had anything to do with it. sorry for the poor grammar. RJDtaggl Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 good new everyone... the problem spurred becuase Acad Mechanical 2010's power snap settings are apparently drawing specific as opposed to profile specific. under powersnap settings there was a box marked ignore z coordinate. simply unchecking this box allowed the tooltip to showup...weird.
