cpascual Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Okay so I am trying to model a valve body that has three different entrance/exit ports. I am having trouble figuring out how I should go about modeling these ports. The port is basically a cone but with a rounded rectangle in the center and the trouble is that the ends of this rounded rectangle (circular parts) are higher then the central portion of the rounded rectangle. Right now I am just messing with a cone and that rounded rectangle, but I don't know how exact I can make that from the measurements I took. Let me know if you have any suggestions on how I should go about making these ports. Quote
ReMark Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Is this a three way plug valve you are modeling? Quote
cpascual Posted August 10, 2010 Author Posted August 10, 2010 This is what I was trying to do. I figured out how to do and I think it is pretty accurate to the measurements I took. All I really need to get from it is its area so it doesn't need to 100%, but I think it's still pretty close to that. Quote
