tiger1337 Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Quick question: Does AutoCAD 2009 LT not have vba functionality? I've developed a few projects for AutoCAD 2007, but I was hoping to make them work with AutoCAD 2009 LT as well. Quote
ReMark Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Not according to the person that posted an answer to a similar question here: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Installation-Licensing/vba-enabler-2011-LT/td-p/2707197 Quote
Patriiick Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 LT does not have VBA capabilites, on top of that, VBA is being phased out of AutoCAD alltogether... Switch to VB NET or stick to LISP for AutoCAD automation. (Not with LT anyway) Quote
BIGAL Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 There a product called lisp enabler for LT not sure how good it works search the net. I do know that a number of 3rd paty software guys were using it succesfully. You could do stuff . vba vb.net that asks questions but uses a script to draw answers Quote
Tyke Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 The LT Enabler was marketed by Thorsten Moses in Berlin. Autodesk believed he was infringing their copyright and a couple of years ago they "came to an agreement" and Thorsten stopped marketting his LT Enabler and stopped supporting it. Autodesk wrote to everybody that had downloaded the LT Enabler and made it quite clear that if it was contiinued to be used that legal action would be taken against them. As far as I know at the moment there is no such enabler available. Someone told me that Bricscad can use AutoCAD VBA modules and LISP routines without having to change anything, but I've never seen it working. Bricscad is less than half the price of LT but I've no idea if its any good. Quote
BIGAL Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Intellicad like Bricscad, very cheap lisp definatley works not sure though about Vlisp I think VBA as well . I believe they both use the same CAD engine as do a number of other products. Quote
