Snowman Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 I am unable to get the object snaps in MEP 2009 to select the corner of a structural member like you could in MEP 2008. What is the variable to turn this back on? Quote
Jadeous Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 I have the exact same question posted. I have seen it done on a co-workers computer, so I know it in there somewhere. I just think it has something to do with the Profiles and WorkSpaces, perhaps. I haven't worked with this one long enough to figure it out yet. The standard O-snap menu features "MEP snaps", but they are very unspecific. Quote
tzframpton Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 type OS at the command line to see what your Snap Settings are set to, then go from there. Quote
Ringis Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 I do not know about MEP, but in Architecture there is a setting for this in OPTIONS under AEC Editor. From help section: "Under Optimize for Speed, select Object Snap to limit certain display representations to respond only to the Node and Insert object snaps. This setting affects stair, railing, space boundary, multi-view block, masking block, slice, and clip volume result (building section) objects" So what it says is that If the box is ticked, it doesnt snap to anything else then the insert point of ex. multi-view block. //Tobias Quote
