Mk1_Oz Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Hi, using AutoCAD 2010 (no updates loaded yet). I have drawn a 3D shape and then drawn a line along one of its lengths using the ENDPOINT to snap the line to. At most levels of zoom the lines all appear perfectly lined up i.e. the line runs beautifully along one edge of the 3D shape. When I zoom in a long way the lines suddenly separate. Is this a display issue only? Does AutoCAD have a degree of error that only becomes apparent when getting in real close? I have been getting errors with slicing a shape based on a surface and I think it possibly may be related to the above.....maybe not though..... Quote
ReMark Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Your best bet is to post the drawing so someone here can take a look at it. Perhaps you are snapping to the wrong point? Quote
