FRAPP84 Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 Hello all, I seem to be having a lot of trouble creating a linetype i just received on a set of drawings. its a thick line that thins out and back to thick kind of like long arrowheads back to back. Any idea how i could get that going on cad 2002? i've fooled around with the .lin file with no success. Thanks Matt Quote
alanjt Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 That's not a linetype, it's an LWPolyline with variable widths. Execute PLine and view the Width options. Quote

FRAPP84 Posted July 23, 2010 Author Posted July 23, 2010 I'm just reffering to it as a pline. I'm looking to create a continuous line that goes from thick to thin repeatedly (as shown in my poor paint jpg). I'd like to be able to use it as a linetype so it could follow the arch of a circle or even the spline. Thanks again Matt Quote
alanjt Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 You'll have to create a shape and save it as an SHX file to create your linetype. Quote
